Una boda fuera de lo común, como yo

No sé ustedes, pero en mi opinión las típicas bodas blancas con dorado o gris o lo que sea bicolor ya están un poco “out”.  Soy la dama de honor de Ceci y entre las dos estamos eligiendo un tema para la boda, aún no se me ocurre nada en específico pero debido a que se casarán en San Juan, se me ocurre mucho color en la decoración, bebidas cocteleras y música alegre de verano.
Ceci tiene mucha mente libre y abierta y no es para nada una chica tradicional, por lo que su boda debe saber reflejarlo, según sus palabras: “quiero que mi boda sea como yo”.  Así que fuimos juntas a ver varios salones para bodas en Puerto Rico, pues su novio aún sigue en Argentina por trabajo, así que hice mi función y la acompañé a todo lo que quiso, nos gustó mucho uno que tenía una vista preciosa al balneario El Escambrón, pues una playa en la ciudad es justo lo que necesitamos para la boda,  todo está cerca y el ambiente es espectacular.  De igual forma, casi todos los salones de bodas en Puerto Rico nos daban servicios muy parecidos entre sí, fue por esto que decidimos quedarnos con el contacto  de San Juan, por la preciosa playa.





Como segunda opción, habíamos escuchado que las bodas en restaurantes se habían comenzado a poner de moda por las facilidades que brindaban y porque se salía de lo tradicional, esto último fue lo que más gustó a Ceci.  Así que nuestra segunda opción se convirtió en la primera pues dio la casualidad de que encontramos un lugar para hacer la boda en restaurante que también tenía la ventaja de tener al balneario El Escambrón como panorama, y aún mejor, este lugar nos ofrecía la opción de hacerlo bajo techo y al aire libre junto a la playa al mismo tiempo, es decir los invitados serían libres de pasearse por la arena, bailar dentro del salón etc. Justo lo que Ceci desea reflejar en su boda, alegría, color y sobre todo… mucha libertad para que todos se la puedan pasar tan bien como ella y su futuro esposo!!

Boda hecha a la medida

El vestido de la novia, los anillos de matrimonio, la decoración, el banquete de bodas entre otros… es demasiado para que lo maneje solo el novio, sin menospreciar al género masculino, pero siempre existe la excepción; así es, hablo de MI prometido! Probablemente todas las novias hablemos así de bien de nuestros futuros esposos, pero les prometo que yo no exageraré nada en lo que les contaré a continuación:
Me fui a estudiar un máster a España que tendría que durar 1 año y Juanjo, mi novio,  se quedó en Santo Domingo debido a las exigencias de su trabajo.  Seis meses después de irme recibo por correspondencia urgente un pequeño paquete que contenía un CD que decía “play me” pensé que era alguna broma de Juanjo pues tenía el remitente puesto, pero cuando lo puse y lo vi vestido de traje y corbata de fondo una orquesta con violines tocando (él es músico) y narrando la forma en que nos conocimos no pude contener mi llanto pues presentía lo que estaría a punto de pasar, en la grabación se pone de rodillas y luego se acaba, fue cuando mi celular timbró y él terminó la historia proponiéndome matrimonio (tuvo de cómplice a mi compañera de piso debo aclarar), debo admitir que nunca me esperaba una propuesta así.
Fijamos la fecha para mi regreso del máster, por lo que le tocaba la mayor parte de los preparativos a Juanjo, por no decir que le toco todo, pues yo estaba a más de 6 mil km de distancia.  Y como todo buen novio, lo primero que hizo fue pedirle ayuda a mi mejor amiga y a mi madre para ir a escoger los anillos de matrimonio, esto me lo contaría luego mi madre que nunca me esconde nada.  Según me comenta Bea, mi mejor amiga, lo que más tiempo les costó fue escoger entre tantos banquetes de boda que mi madre había contactado, pues Juanjo deseaba un menú sencillo y para todos los gustos y mi madre tenía en mente un banquete de boda bastante exótico, dado a que ese sería su regalo de bodas, Juanjo tuvo que ceder muy amablemente a su elección.
Para no hacerles largo el cuento, regresé de mi largo año de estudios únicamente a meterme literalmente en mi vestido de novia (que fue lo único que yo escogí) y a disfrutar de una boda hecha a mi medida sin haberme enterado, fue estupendo!!
